In Carol's Words...

A Poem for Grief

Carol Adair (Khadjenouri)

For all of us who love Carol, this site must serve to celebrate her extraordinary life. We won't be able to gather together for a while to celebrate in the style she would prefer, but meanwhile we can collect our memories here.

Carol touched so many with her generosity, curiousity and wit, it is difficult to realize we are in a world without her in it. Perhaps we are not. Perhaps something of her vibrant, life-loving spirit lingers in each of us.

She ended her life exactly where she wanted to be, in her Guerneville home surrounded by redwoods. In all probability she died peacefully in her sleep, unaware she had reached the end of her road.
